computer scientist in 1936, he developed the idea for the Universal Turing
Machine, the basis for the first computer. And he developed a test for artificial
intelligence in 1950, which is still used today.
Today, AI has grown from problem-solving data models to artificial neural
networks - a computer model based on the structure and functions of human
biological networks. AI is changing our lives at a phenomenal speed. From
driverless cars to special purpose robots, AI is meant to enhance the quality of
human lives. Technologies powered by AI and Machine learning have already
began transforming the industrial landscape, providing organizations with
tremendous benefits and adding great value to their businesses. The sectors of
transportation, healthcare, logistics, finance and industrial manufacturing, among
a plethora of others, would undergo an immense transformation under the
influence of AI and they would evolve to be more productive and cheaper and,
more importantly, provide better services.
Among all its applications, I am most excited by the results that would be produced
by AI in the following areas:
